GO IN HIS STRENGTH

Psalm 71:16-18 (NKJV), “I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only.  O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I declare Your wondrous works.  Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.”

While reflecting on these verses, I was reminded of times when preparing for a meeting and feeling so tired, weak, anxious, and inadequate.  Then God, in His love and mercy, by the Holy Spirit, reminded me that the people, the church, and the message is His not mine.  I will go in His strength and mention His righteousness, declaring His strength and power to this generation.

Psalm 73:26 (NKJV), has been a go to verse for years in many a weak situation.  “My flesh

and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

As we yield to the Holy Spirit and trust in God’s grace and strength, there’s a generation of hungry ones ready to say “yes” to the truth, love, and power of the Gospel.

God’s not done with us.

Keep yielding to His Spirit.

Trust in His word.

Pray for the harvest.

Psalm 29:11 (NKJV), “The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.”
